About GTBM

GTBM was founded in 1972 by Guillio Picolli. Guided by his son, Richard Picolli, the company made the transition from a low-tech retail supplier and repairer of typewriters and adding machines to a high-tech networking, communications, and software provider. The New Jersey-based company replaced typewriters with word processors and replaced adding machines with spreadsheet software on the first generation of consumer-priced computers. As computing entered the 80s and 90s, Richard Picolli, now the company's President transformed GTBM into a computer networking company deploying and supporting computer networks for many Fortune 500 companies and small businesses throughout the New York tri-state area. Business peaked as Picolli saw the opportunity to aid a myriad private corporations and government agencies in getting through the challenges of Y2K. In the first quarter of 2000 sales declined as Y2K issues faded into computer history. Picolli again transformed the company by designing and co-developing a software product that targeted law enforcement agencies in New Jersey. Since 2000 Info-Cop™ and now Info-Corp™ have continued to evolve to become a strong force in the marketplace once again leading to the reinvention of GTBM.
